So I have been home from abroad for a little over a week now and let me say, the transition from Europe back to America was a bit chaotic. I still can't believe all the amazing adventures I had the privilege to experience these past 4 months. Traveling to all these different cities opened my eyes to new cultures, histories and ways of life. For anyone contemplating traveling any time soon, do it!
Here it is: my top 7 favorite restaurants in Prague (in no particular order).
1. Cantina
Traditional Mexican food, GREAT margaritas (get the pitcher if your with a group of friends), the cheese nachos with guac...get them, chicken/steak fajitas for dinner never let me down
2. Carmelita
My fave Italian restaurant in Prague, get the balsamic chicken dinner and spaghetti bolognese
3. Cafe Savoy
We basically lived here for our daily brunches, anything you will get is amazing (even the bread they give before your meal is amazing).
Fried eggs topped with truffle
4. Bohemia Bagel
Summary: Local bagel/sandwich/salad shop near Anglo American University. You can't go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel to cure your hangover, the chicken salad is good too.
5. Bakeshop
Right in Old Town Square across from James Dean Restaurant. The egg and cheese on a croissant is unreal and a perfect meal right before exploring the city
6. Hotel U Prince
Grab drinks on the terrace of this restaurant in Old Town Square and you won't be disappointed. Best. View. Ever.
7. Yami Sushi
A great sushi spot in the heart of Prague's Old Town with great service and variety
