RECIPE: Bold® Aloha Sunshine™ Turkey Breast Hawaiian Flatbread
You can turn your lunch into a luau anytime of the year with this turkey and grilled pineapple flatbread. Tangy BBQ sauce, charred pineapple and the savory-sweet notes of the turkey will make everyone happy.
It’s a super easy recipe that takes 10 minutes total and doesn’t involve too much cleaning up afterwards (always a plus for me). I also love that this Aloha Sunshine turkey is great for someone with food intolerances. It’s gluten-free, has no preservatives or MSG, 0g trans fat per serving, milk-free, low fat, and is saturated fat-free.
Ingredients:
1 flatbread, store bought
¼ cup BBQ sauce
4oz jalapeno pepper jack cheese, shredded
½ cup pineapple, diced
¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
6oz Bold® Aloha Sunshine™ Turkey Breast, thinly sliced
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
1) Lay the flatbread on a clean working surface and spread with BBQ sauce
2) Top with cheese, pineapple, red onion and jalapeño
3) Finish with turkey ribbons
4) Bake at 400 F for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling
5) If desired, sprinkle with green onions
